NO MATTER WHAT

An ironic rise from epitome of disguise

in the process of life, it helps to be wise

together we must find the basis of trust

otherwise we won't be able to go past

dubious extinctions happening so fast.

This requisite is based on a common need

there is plenty of stuff that we can concede

as custodians of nature, a wonderful deed

only after we assume true troth with ease

we should be able to live life as we please.

MAKE-BELIEVE

Some of us have been locked up in personality
only in deepest dreams may truth show its face
we know very well the false aspect of our nature
yet, we often hide behind a disguised disposition.
Vanity demands, we dress up to appropriate attire
to have an appearance of what we supposedly are
strange as this may sound, we are willfully impaired
by assumed distinctions as they are being compared.

WHERE THE LOBSTERS ARE

Wondering deep in the ocean 

out of touch from the shore 
turned over, laid on my back 
a streaming poem beckoned me
imploring that I should turn back...
back to life.. back to the land.
Yet another voice from above
reminding me there is a home
somewhere deep down there
where my eyes can not see
there is a bed in the ocean floor
just for me, cool, crisp, lobsterly.
Suddenly the shadow of a boat
blocks the Sun from my face
they were looking for a lost log
the coast guards spotted a dog,
a poet sinking deep and deeper,
a sign, an indication of hope.
They should have let me be,
I wasn’t asking for any help!.
They won't leave you alone
in the wide open ocean.
They pull me up on deck
give me the mouth to mouth,
some call me lucky - crazy,
they interrogate thoroughly,
but I have one answer to give,
my reason drowned a while back
now resting on the ocean floor.
I was diving for some reasoning
where the lobsters are,
deep down there >>>>>>>>>>.

SOB

The futile grievance I sometimes hear 
goes through one ear but does not clear
gets stuck in the mind, sometimes I fear
it may not come out from the other ear
less I wash down the frown with a tear.

QUERY

I ask myself what is my intention

why do I bother to post another

reminder of man made disaster,

will it flak the established order?.

The truth is relative to the watcher

the adept don’t listen to a preacher,

my intention is not to be a teacher,

I am simply a self abiding creature.

Just a weary passer by, sharing surmise

seeking surety, getting satisfaction thus

here now, gone tomorrow, not to surprise

could I change the World after my demise?.

JUST IN CASE

What I have so far witnessed in my life

has driven me to the idiom of the absurd

not only have I learned to laugh at things

also take amusement in playing the fool

making people laugh can be totally cool. 

The privileged fool is a fool of indulgence 

the popular fool is a fool through capacity,

excess is by no means proof of capability,

greed is no indication of a person’s ability.

I cherish humility as evidence to humanity.

I have also fooled myself that I’m not crazy

although there are times when I flip my top

hop out of mind when the scene gets hazy

planning to get to the bottom without a rope

so I don’t hang myself in case I can’t cope.

HANDLE WITH CARE

Ardor is subtle when enticed eagerly

with rapture and clarity, full heartedly,

alongside passion comes vulnerability

should it crumble, there will be no pity.

Romance in bloom, such is pure delight

must cherish beloved, hold on to it tight,

faith is liable, can be challenged by fate

fragile and delicate, should treat it right.

HINT

If you really care, evade the despair
rise from the depth, breathe fresh air
the burden you bare is not even there
spare the angst, you are not being fair
to yourself you owe an enchanting affair.

DOWN TO EARTH

Our life is like a kind of journey where 

the landscape fosters a different view 

from that which was presented at first 

changes again and again till the end

we often find something else to wish

something better, some permanence

that we often find on a different path 

than the one which starts our pursuit

Instead of finding what was expected 

pleasure, happiness, joy, satisfaction

we acquired experience and insight

which is a real and permanent thing

far better than illusions ever fleeting.

DESCRY

Money coated vanity, a set form of insanity
which serves to disseminate this life's irony
such mundane talk as consumerist baloney
reveals what is genuine and what is phony. 
When the air is pure, the water crystal clear
mother nature near, birds love singing here
there should be no doubt as to what is dear
clear recognition does not hinder the seer.

LUCID SLEEPWALKER

When taking a dive from the lucid into the deep 
keep on going until you surface from your sleep
as you slip into a conscious state of awakening 
you can day dream for the lack of a better thing.

METAPHORIC VESTIGES

Alarming wake up call 
promptly intercepted
sophisticated methods 
applied by spying oglers
in removing a message
like a thread from butter.
Blinders briskly fluttered
blinkers keenly adjusted
orders promptly released
over draconian quarters
to locate loose roosters
disobeying strict orders.
Fractured are relations
among differing nations
rigid oligarchic vestiges
exploit devious schemes
harbor morbid intentions
contrary to what it seems.
Ruthlessly inflicted pain
might be applied again
as sabers rattle in vain
all tyrants stand to gain
in conflicts gone insane
merely shambles remain.

FLIP-FLOP

Lucid dreaming alongside daydreaming 

one is facing down, the other facing up

like floating on the surface of the water

turning around from upside to downside.

Flip flop like a coin spinning in the air

one side gets sunlight the other a shade

like a dreamer witnessing an awakening

the coalescing of the inner and the outer.

AUGHT NAUGHT

At the negation of inherent existence 
the mind is emptied in dire container
a head so clear when turned around
washed out of any evidence of doubt.
Nothingness is where all this sprouts
embrace emptiness, cherish solitude
stillness of mind can disperse clouds
open the heart wide, bear no attitude.

SHIFT

Sooner or later a need for change emerges
must reconsider values, make adjustments
stakes can be lowered, the course altered
a new person reborn with mind wide open
might as well be the change one is hoping
that should put an end to the futile coping.

CHOICE

Flip your coin high into the sky
when it is still spinning in the air
you'll realize which side you care
the other might as well go to hell.

YOU BET

On a table of roulette a fast feast has been laid
the famished are being offered an enticing bait
by means of the wheel spin a spurious promise
losers with bulging eyes are a subject to demise
they have been wiped out as the oracle can tell
predicting just about all that is about to prevail
when bettors push their luck they end up in jail
compulsive gamblers left with their soul to sell.

LOST FRIEND

Long story short, thus a lucid day dream
I have been through ambiguous streets
Sleepwalking fingers, with pen in hand
Long and narrow, can not see the end
I have not been a beholder of a trend
I keep searching for a long lost friend
who passed away touching my hand
there is a message I wanted to send
with my hand so he can understand.

MORE THAN HUMAN

From a source deep in space

subtle signals reaching Earth,

heavens above giving a sign

crop circles are simply divine. 

Much evidence of alien action

not just far fetched deduction,

let us be real, about this deal

so many things it could reveal.

Should we be ready to receive

a honored guest from heaven

with open arms & love to give

without the demeanor of fear.

FORSAKEN

There is no obligation for unconditional love

just heartfelt affection, dedication and loyalty

prepared to go the distance without any doubt

belonging to a lover is what devotion is about 

revealing the thrill of adoration, not just a clout.

The more the feeling, the happier is the being

but at the end the harder might be the leaving

such is the balance of life, fragile at the source

it would crumble if it were kept in place by force

letting go of beloved is the extent of this course.
