BLACK PEARL DREAM

I saw the reflection of my thoughts
in the mirror of streaming words
as I reached out for a black pearl
at the mouth of the big bad oyster.
It slipped out, sinking down deep
I dived head first, my ears ringing
eyes searching for a color long lost
a dark reflection impacted my eyes.
I locked on it blindly, barely clinging
guided by my instincts, arms stretched
with a reflexed touch I snatched the pearl
hence it grabbed me back, firmly dragging
through a cracked wall, into a deepening hole
I woke up just before the fall, this is all I recall.

ON THE OTHER HAND

Incite if you dare the inner ride

dive into it, take the deeper slide

probe into the soul but do not hide 

till you surface from the brighter side.

What we make of this will mostly depend

on whether we destroy or could we amend

let us write in sand a message we can send

with the written word, things get out of hand.

The dissolving drip from the tip of the iceberg 
a separate reality in reverse is running unison
parallel paths evade setback in chartless map
mighty glacier melts in sight of a heart warmer
might distinguish the truthful from the charmer.

VIRTUAL PARTICIPANT

I was once uprooted from the soil that gave me life
taken to far out places I could not have dreamed of
with roots dangling in the air I climbed clouds high
dancing, whirling my way in circles all over the sky.
I arrived to cyber space in my own good good pace
here is a place where I have contrived a virtual face
long after I have gone, I might leave enduring trace.

Should you look into the eyes

of the hideous under your face

you don't have to seek or trace

it’s the news of the human race

comes out before it takes place.

Box office hits are scary flicks

people pay to enjoy such films

to have a rush without a crush

the thrill is on, the task is done

the consumer having some fun.

Fear is a most cruel emotion

the tormentor's potent potion

can tear apart innocent heart

the nostrum of fear is caution

helps evade a harsh erosion.
