ALERT

Intelligence is an open wound, treat it with wisdom
cunning is the by-product, can be schemed at random
What is truly from the heart, the capacity for sympathy
could be brutally squandered by condescending apathy.

INFUSION

A human being can eliminate fear by generating love
a matter of believing in it, that this could be attained
all this becomes apparent when the inner sky is clear
only when all together at the same moment we would
keep the minds well aligned and the hearts wide open
we needn't be coping because we would be happening
past the struggle of survival lies nonchalant joyful living.

SPURNED

Exerted pressure makes me depressed

submitting to a test is something I detest

the more I am pressured to do my best

the more I feel subject to a stinking test.

My innermost feelings are suppressed

what I terribly need is a long, deep rest

but I have been thrown out of my nest

by a skunk whom I took in as my guest.

MILITARY CHARADE

I happened to be walking by, minding my own sense
when I came across a high profile military presence 
must have been some special day, colourful parade 
people were gathered on both sides of the highway
I was not aware that this was a war celebration day
I had been whistling a lively tune which I often play
I was abruptly pulled aside, imperiously held at bay
was searched tip to bottom, I heard somebody say
this one doesn't fit the bill, most likely he is wanted
this is what I want to hear, happy to be in demand
as long as they don't command, I'll enjoy the band
attending to a parade was not a thing I had in mind.

FAITHFUL FATE

Passion with gusto tendered alertly
with purity, virtuously, full heartedly,
alongside fervour comes vulnerability
should it crumble there will be no pity.

Romance in bloom, such is pure delight
must cherish beloved, hold on to it tight,
faith is delicate when obstructed by fate
so intense yet fragile, should treat it right.
