THE BITTER TRUTH

It does not have to be a secret to spread
besides with whom do you care to share
who can cope with this, who would dare
to really give a darn, most certainly care
about the odious, ugly and painfully sad
the bitter truth, shall not make you glad
bona fide is precious but hardly in need
paramount is peace of mind, take heed.

Disclosing everything out in the open
so that one can see through the whole
no cover up, all staring you at the face
can not be avoided, there is no escape
enlightened with stunning illumination
clearly visible, with every minute detail
unless you can handle, this can be hell
you can never tell, it might do you well.

HAZARDOUS

Whispering sweet nothings down one ear
watch it come out unheard from the other
elegant words are wasted why even bother
check out her pulse, make sure she is alive
there may be a beat to it, well worth the try
once there is response she might start to cry
you have to bear with it, do not even ask why
passion is charged with desire, she might fire
since you're close by, watch out, you could fry.

THIS IS A HOLD UP !!!!

Double barrel poem staring you at the face
FRRREEEEEZZZZZZZzee... I got itchy fingers
Look into my eyes, can't you read my lips
I want NOTHING.,, and I want it NOW !!!!
Slowly reach out, empty your pockets
of all the colourful pills and bills
the plastic fantastic thrills
I want them right away
I know that you have
plenty zilch to give
I'll take them all
to the last naught
you can keep the change
that may add to something.

SHADOW OF A DOUBT

Is our faith strengthened when we worship
or do we worship because we have faith?.
The things we worship are also divergent
from God to Money, whatever is the urgent
faith becomes will power, we get rewarded.

I personally worship nothing, not even myself. 
The only faith I know is reaching out for truth
which is sometimes well disguised, uncertain
such truth admits not knowing the unknown.
Be honest with thy self, so you can be a seer.

WAY TO BE FREE

It's the easiest thing to say

'this here is the right way'

but when it is time to play

with your neck on the line

much is being left undone.

Integrity should demand

that you take command

but first take a stand

once you understand

what to do my friend.

If you encounter wrath

while you are on this path

hold on to your breath

face ghastly disgrace

with amazing grace.

Drop your rage 

before you engage

the task at this stage

is to unlock the cage

before turning the page.

For the future generations

The soul when given a bogus goal, cried foul
did not want to be harnessed, pushed around
the freedom to move in and out of the ground
when the will is gone, nothing's left to be found.

For the sake of the yet unborn children of mankind
our babies must not become puppets to reprimand
it doesn't matter whether they are your kids or mine
providing that the soul isn't severed from the divine.

While humanity grows more and more intelligent

there seems to be more distress, less happiness

such is the outcome of reckless use of capacity.

Should we indulge in a thorough extensive inquiry

we shall encounter that in the absence of modesty

cleverness will bring about the vanity of arrogance.

The ego, where all desires and cravings are seated

enslaves the native to the yearning lust of the self

consequently confusion does supersede adversity.

Glory goes to the master of honesty and integrity

who can bring the whole self into righteous unity

life is not a finished process; striving for divinity.

GIVE OR TAKE

Much was given as a token
then again fun was taken
from other point of view
once the giving was over
the sucker took the hook
seems he wanted to cook
enticement was all it took
look, it is in the thick book
it says, by hook or by crook.

NOT FOR SALE

Like a black hole at the heart of an atom
your paradise is a slippery slope to hell
I can tell because I more than once fell
but was rescued in the nick of the bell
don't you have anything better to sell?.

HOMEY

Home is a nest at best
when wherever you are
becomes the only place
you can make anywhere
as best a nest as the last
the rest will fall into place
less you run out of space.
