HOLY ATOM

Like a black hole at the heart of an atom
your paradise is a slippery slope to hell
I can tell because I more than once fell
but survived the holy part of the tale.

ANGUISH

It does not have to be a secret to spread
besides with whom do you care to share
who can cope with it, who wouldn't dare
to really give a darn, most certainly care
when your life is all there is left to spare
without the passion to prolong this affair
seems unfair to cross from here to there
with the languish of paying a woeful fare.

ENDANGERED

Alarming wake up call  

promptly intercepted

sophisticated methods 

used by spying oglers

removing the message 

like a thread from butter

blinders briskly fluttered

orders rapidly released 

to locate loose roosters

with distinguished beaks.

Fractured are relations 

in draconian quarters

rare oligarchic vestiges 

are facing extinction 

gingerly inflicted pain

will be applied again 

sabers rattling in vain

tyrants stand to gain

nerves are sharpened

despots seek to attain

a cutting edge terrain.

The Challenge of the Spirit

While humanity grows more and more intelligent
there seems to be more distress, less happiness
when we indulge in a thorough extensive inquiry
we distinctly realize that in the absence of wisdom
cleverness will strengthen the arrogance of vanity
such be the outcome of blatant misuse of capacity.
All desires, cravings and means of self indulgence
enslaves the native to the yearning lust of the body
accordingly the adversity of corruption supersedes.
Glory goes to the master of honesty and integrity
who can bring the whole self into righteous unity.

SUBORIGINAL ACTIVITY

A scribble enables the germ of an idea to attain expression 
such is the language of unintentional automatic drawings 
later touched with cutting edge, digital suboriginal scrutiny
from a mass of abstract shapes, a selected embryo is developed
as genetic memories surface, the springs of instinct are tapped
opening the mind and putting it upon the scent of new thoughts
out of which, the artist is furnished with an abundance of subjects.

CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC

Traces of verse were spread in between the lines
the poet and entourage had less than nothing to say
not a single drop of rhythm was spilled over this poem
tempo was assumed after the dormant note was aroused.

The witnesses to this discourse were few in between
some were stricken with awe, others took it for granted
there were several who were so inspired, they even ranted
when finally the mainstream were alerted, everyone chanted.

CLARITY

A moment of repose amongst fleeting visions
a breath of fresh air, a lucid perception of reality
in a smothering of passage all obstacles are lifted
the mind is cleared of clutters, not a puzzle remains
in a vision so clear, a deep understandings surfaces
like an air bubble in the deep waters, as it emerges.

NO RUSH

Ripples of streaming verse flowing before my eyes
swaying between lucid dreaming and day dreaming
while swinging in a mysterious daze, back and forth
throwing a quick gaze at things ordinarily unnoticed
here now, gone later, be back again, a touch of a push
get ready to fly for this is what you shall need to get by
high in the sky there is lots of space but what's the rush?.

GROSS EXPECTATIONS

The grotesque visions of a life's discarded reverie
Alienated from the cultural roots, wanting to be free
Holding on to the body, eyes wide open but can't see
The soul has taken to ether, yet the mind won't let it be
Paradox in action, clinging to genetic memory tenaciously
Psyche striving for change, as the ghost persists stubbornly
The spirit longing for eternity but unable to leave permanently
An entity must shed density, lighten up to ascend... apparently.

in a flash it goes, as though it never was

There is a constant interchange in the fabric of life
between feeling and form, the mind and matter
the body and spirit, the inner and the outer
boundaries are crying out for freedom
as freedom ventures to be housed
in the confinement of a border.

I was once uprooted from the soil that gave me life
taken to far out places I could not have dreamed of
with roots dangling in the air, I climbed clouds high
dancing, whirling my way, in circles all over the sky
I have surrendered to the cyber winds, here is why
no matter what fate deals me I welcome with a sigh.

We arrive to this life in a human body
straightaway we are given an identity
a number, nation, a code to our entity
rather divergent from genetic memory
as we strive toward our need to be free
from conditioning that engender duality.

We are like acrobats on the line of polarity
in balancing opposites we maintain sanity
swayed by inclinations by natural tendency
our inherent virtue tempered as our vanity
we gradually rise to an epitome of disguise
in the journey of lifetime it helps to be wise.

Together we must find a foundation of trust
otherwise our core essence will gather rust
this is a requisite based on a common need
which is indeed a situation we must concede
most humans do what they have been told
if they have the intention of becoming old.

As the story goes there has been a valid cause
to feel uneasy, suspicious, even angry because
there is a breach of promise which does arouse
a good reason to be weary of entrusted spouse
who has brought about the wreckage of the house
which endangers the natives, even the local mouse.

CURED & CONJURED

Consciousness is ever present, like the air we breathe
assuming the heart is the crown throne of emotion
the beat, the locomotion, the ability to have love
like the air, assured of abundant eternal existence
a heart can breathe pure love when given such a seat.
The brain in which intelligence resides of some kind
is a place where consciousness is received by the mind
beneath the surface, beyond boundaries one may find
an invisible presence unaware of the fate which awaited
a being which until it randomly manifested was negated
creatures cured and conjured as they were being created.
