SUBORIGINAL TIMING

There are perpetual layers of time unfolding simultaneously

progressing on some levels, yet regressing in many others

cross-currents moving from past to future and vice versa

half way in life we may catch a glimpse of our parallel self

moving in reverse, from old age towards moment of birth

when we cross each other at midpoint this should reveal

the moment of time indicating precisely the middle age

hence distance travelled should equal the leftover stage.

I was once uprooted from the soil that gave me life

taken to far out places I could not have dreamed of

with roots dangling in the air, I climbed clouds high

dancing, whirling my way in circles all over the sky.

I have arrived to the World Wide Web in easy pace

here is a place where I have assumed a virtual face

long after I have expired I shall exist in cyberspace.
